Infusion Nurse (1099 Independent Contractor)

Health Infusion Services is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide infusion and injection services in our outpatient suite and, when applicable, through mobile concierge visits.

We are a growing outpatient infusion practice focused on delivering safe, professional, patient-centered care in a comfortable, high-end setting. We are looking for a nurse with strong IV skills, sound clinical judgment, and a polished, professional presence.

Position Overview
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity for an RN who is comfortable working autonomously, maintaining high clinical standards, and providing exceptional patient care across a variety of infusion services.

Responsibilities
Administer IV infusions, hydration therapy, injections, and specialty therapies as ordered by a licensed provider
Perform nursing assessments before, during, and after treatment
Establish and maintain peripheral IV access safely and efficiently
Monitor patients for infusion-related or adverse reactions and respond appropriately within scope
Provide patient education regarding treatment expectations, side effects, and follow-up instructions
Complete accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation
Follow applicable clinical protocols, infection control standards, safety procedures, and HIPAA requirements
Travel to mobile visits when scheduled and applicable

Qualifications

  • Active New York State RN license in good standing
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Strong IV insertion and vascular access skills required
  • Infusion, oncology, critical care, emergency room, medical-surgical, or home care experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and bedside manner
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound nursing judgment
  • Reliable transportation required for mobile visits
  • Professional liability / malpractice coverage preferred or required based on final agreement

Compensation
Commission-based. Independent contractor will receive 55% of collected revenue for services personally performed.

Independent Contractor Classification
This is a 1099 independent contractor position and not a W-2 employee role. Contractors are responsible for maintaining their own required licenses, certifications, insurance, and tax obligations.
