Medical Biller / Revenue Cycle Specialist

Health Infusion Services is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and dependable Medical Biller / Revenue Cycle Specialist to support the financial operations of our growing outpatient infusion practice.

This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of medical billing, claims management, payer follow-up, and reimbursement workflows. The ideal candidate will help ensure accurate claim submission, timely collections, denial management, and overall revenue cycle efficiency.

Position Overview
This role is responsible for managing billing and revenue cycle processes, including claims submission, payment posting, follow-up on unpaid claims, denial resolution, and coordination related to patient balances and payer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and submit accurate medical claims in a timely manner
• Follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims
• Identify billing issues and work to resolve claim rejections and denials
• Post payments, adjustments, and patient balances accurately
• Verify coding, documentation, and claim information for completeness
• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding claim status and reimbursement issues
• Assist with patient billing questions and account follow-up as needed
• Track aging reports and support collections workflow
• Maintain compliance with payer rules, billing regulations, and HIPAA requirements
• Collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to improve revenue cycle performance

Qualifications

• Prior experience in medical billing, revenue cycle, or healthcare reimbursement required
• Experience with commercial insurance, Medicare, and claims follow-up preferred
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and medical billing workflows preferred
• Strong understanding of denials, appeals, and payment posting
• Experience with EMR/EHR and billing software preferred
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Compensation
$25–$32 per hour
